Adoption fees reduced for three-day weekend Dec 4-6

Young-Williams Animal Center will join the ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) and Subaru of America, Inc. for the annual year-end Subaru “Share the Love” event and celebration (www.subaru.com/share-the-love.html). As part of this national effort, Young-Williams Animal Center and Grayson Subaru have teamed up to offer a three-day adoption special Dec. 4-6.

With the ‘Share the Love’ adoption special, every adult cat and dog at Young-Williams Animal Center will be available at the reduced adoption fee of $25 and senior dogs and cats (7 years and up) will be free. The special will be available at both YWAC locations: Young-Williams Animal Center, 3201 Division St., and Young-Williams Animal Village, 6400 Kingston Pike.

“Our shelter is full of loving pets and we would love to see each of them in a loving home to call their own this holiday season,” said Jeff Ashin, Young-Williams Animal Center CEO.  “We are grateful for Grayson Subaru’s sponsorship which makes it possible for us to reduce our adoption fees and help find forever homes for more animals.”

During the adoption special, every animal will receive the services covered by the regular adoption fees, which include a veterinary physical exam, spay/neuter surgery, standard vaccinations, microchip with registration and more. Puppies and kittens are not included in the special.

For every new Subaru purchased or leased during the “Share the Love” event, Subaru donates $250 to the purchaser/lessee’s choice of participating charities, up to $15,000,000, one of which is the ASPCA.  The ASPCA will be distributing its donation to support animal welfare organizations and life saving programs across the country and Young-Williams Animal Center is pleased to be a recipient of one of these grants.

“Grayson Subaru is committed to Subaru’s yearly “Share the Love” campaign and partners with Young-Williams not just during the holiday season, but throughout the year to help find as many loving homes as possible for our furry friends.  Grayson feels fortunate to be a part of what Young Williams and the ASPCA is doing for pets in East Tennessee,” said Randy Carter, Grayson Subaru Sales Manager.
