Adoption fees reduced for three-day weekend Dec 2-4
Young-Williams Animal Center will join the ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) and Subaru of America, Inc. for the annual year-end Subaru Share the Love event and celebration, which kicked off November 17, 2016 and runs through January 3, 2017. As part of this national effort, Young-Williams Animal Center and Grayson Subaru have teamed up to offer a three-day adoption special from Dec. 2 through Dec. 4.
With the Share the Love adoption special, every adult cat and dog at Young-Williams Animal Center will be available at the reduced adoption fee of $25. The special will be available at both locations: Young-Williams Animal Center, 3201 Division St., and Young-Williams Animal Village, 6400 Kingston Pike.
“Our shelter is full of loving pets, and we would love to see each of them in a loving home to call their own this holiday season,” says Janet Testerman, CEO of Young-Williams Animal Center. “We are grateful for the ASPCA’s sponsorship and the support of Grayson Subaru, which makes it possible for us to reduce our adoption fees and help find forever homes for more animals.”
During the adoption special, every animal will receive the services covered by the regular adoption fees, including a veterinary physical exam, spay/neuter surgery, standard vaccinations, microchip with registration and more.
For every new Subaru purchased or leased during the Share the Love event, Subaru will donate $250 to the purchaser/lessee’s choice of four participating charities, up to $15 million, one of which is the ASPCA. The ASPCA will be distributing its donations to support animal welfare organizations and life-saving programs across the country, and Young-Williams Animal Center is pleased to be a recipient of one of these grants.
