UT LAW GRADUATES JOIN LEWIS KING LAW FIRM

Ronald K. Isaacs and Mikel A. Towe, recent graduates of the University of Tennessee College of Law, have joined the Lewis, King, Krieg & Waldrop law firm. Both are associates working out of the firm’s Knoxville office with a focus on general civil litigation.

“Ronald and Mikel are accomplished students who have demonstrated exceptional legal skills,” said Rod Fields, managing partner of the firm’s Knoxville office. “Based on their success as summer associates with our firm and in law school, we expect they will thrive.”

Isaacs graduated, cum laude, from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2013. In law school, he was awarded a Baker Law Fellowship and served as a member of the Transactions Journal, the American Association for Justice Trial Team, and the Moot Court Board. He also served as a summer associate for Lewis King’s Knoxville office during the summers of 2011 and 2012.

Mikel A. Towe

A native of Kingsport, Tenn., Isaacs received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Banking and Finance from the University of Georgia in 2008.

Towe graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2013. In law school, he was a member of the Moot Court Board and received certificates of academic excellence in Pretrial Litigation and Interviewing and Counseling. While in school, Towe served as a substitute teacher for Knox County Schools and spent time mentoring at-risk youth in the Knox County School System. Towe served as a summer associate for Lewis King’s Knoxville office during the summers of 2011 and 2012.

Born and raised in Knoxville, Tenn., Towe received his Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, in 2010 from the University of Tennessee where he majored in History and minored in Geography.

Lewis King was founded in 1960 and today has 58 attorneys in its three offices in Nashville, Knoxville and Sevierville.
