To kick off the company’s local United Way giving campaign, U.S. Cellular presented a $10,000 corporate gift to the United Way of Greater Knoxville on Oct. 22 at the U.S. Cellular Soccer Complex off Lovell Road in West Knox County. U.S. Cellular associates and leaders also participated in “Goals for Giving,” through which associates attempted to score soccer goals on their leaders to raise additional funds for United Way. Associates donated $5 for saved goals, and leaders donated $5 for made goals.
