The Tranzonic Companies has hired Duane Maxwell as third shift shipping supervisor at the national manufacturing firm’s West Knoxville facility.
Based in Cleveland, Ohio, The Tranzonic Companies was founded nearly a century ago and manufactures and distributes wiping cloths, personal hygiene products, textiles, washroom supplies and accessories, wiping and cleaning supplies, and safety products.
“Duane brings extensive experience in logistics and operations management,” said Brian Rhoades, executive vice president of operations for Tranzonic. “As we pursue a better way every day, he will put his expertise to work as he helps lead our shipping process. We welcome him to the Tranzonic team.”
Maxwell, who has 15 years of experience in the field, held an operations manager position at FedEx Freight in Knoxville before joining Tranzonic. He also served as platform manager for Old Dominion Freight Line in Morristown, Tennessee, and account manager for Southeastern Freight Lines in Knoxville.

Maxwell resides in Knoxville with his wife, Julie, and their two German shepherds, Mace and Mishka. The family enjoys boating, golf and half marathons.
