Tranzonic Companies hires Adam Campbell as maintenance manager
The Tranzonic Companies recently hired Adam W. Campbell as maintenance manager at the national manufacturing firm’s West Knoxville facility.
Based in Cleveland, Ohio, The Tranzonic Companies has been in business for more than 90 years and manufactures wiping cloths; personal hygiene products; textiles; washroom supplies and accessories; wiping and cleaning supplies; and safety products. The Knoxville facility, located off Hardin Valley Road, is the largest manufacturing and distribution site for The Tranzonic Companies.
“Adam’s mechanical aptitude and ‘can-do’ attitude make him a great fit for our Knoxville team,” said Brian Rhoades, vice president of operations in Knoxville. “We strive to create a better way every day, and Adam’s leadership capabilities and skills working in tandem to maintain our equipment will help us achieve continuous improvement.”
For the past 15 years, Campbell worked at companies such as Earth Fare, Inc., and Garrett Stair Company, with increasing levels of responsibility. His new position will involve overseeing preventive maintenance; troubleshooting equipment issues and making repairs; installing new equipment; and creating and implementing maintenance schedules to ensure timely and effective production.
Campbell holds an associate in applied science degree in engineering technology with an electrical engineering concentration from Pellissippi State Community College, and he completed three years of additional plant sciences coursework at the University of Tennessee.
Campbell resides in Powell with his wife, Jacquelyn Tritt, and daughter, Aylah Campbell-Tritt. He enjoys hiking, camping, cooking and baking in his free time.
