Third annual Knox Rox concert to benefit Hillcrest Healthcare, Hope Springs Adult Day Care

April 13, 2023

The annual Knox Rox benefit concert is back and expected to be the biggest to date, with axe throwing, beer and food for purchase, live music and family entertainment. The Hillcrest Healthcare Foundation invites everyone to enjoy music that makes a difference on Saturday, April 29, from 5-8 p.m. at 865 Axe Throwing.

All proceeds from this year’s event will support the Hillcrest Healthcare Foundation and Hope Springs Adult Day Care Center. In addition to a live musical performance by Lavonda & the 865 Bandits – a band made up of healthcare professionals across Tennessee – the event also will include food trucks and beer for purchase, axe throwing and outdoor games. 865 Axe Throwing is located at 5821 Babelay Road in Northeast Knoxville.

“The Knox Rox benefit concert is a beloved event that brings people together to support our seniors and most vulnerable patient population,” said Barry Davis, CEO of Hillcrest Healthcare. “Our mission is that ‘Everyone Matters’ and more than ever, this is a great need in our community. We are delighted not only to contribute to organizations doing crucial work, but also to raise awareness about senior care.”

For a limited time, hand-dyed concert apparel made by Hillcrest Healthcare’s long-term care residents can be purchased. Tickets and merchandise are available at eventbrite.com/e/knox-rox-benefit-concert-2023-tickets-520558633887.

Each year, the Knox Rox benefit concert supports both the Hillcrest Healthcare Foundation and another deserving local organization.
