The Trust Company of Tennessee has hired Thomas Cook to provide financial planning guidance as a client specialist.

Based in Knoxville, The Trust Company of Tennessee is a state-chartered bank with more than $3.5 billion under management. The company helps individuals, families, business owners and charities make better decisions with money through wealth management, corporate retirement and personal trust services.

Cook is a candidate for Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) certification. He earned a Bachelor of Science in personal financial planning from Utah Valley University. He previously served as a paraplanner for LJCooper Wealth Advisors.

“I understand the impact that financial stress can have on individuals and families,” Cook said. “I want to provide leadership and guidance to eliminate financial stress and improve the lives of our clients.”

Cook and his wife, Katy, reside in West Knoxville. He is fluent in Spanish and enjoys basketball, horse riding, reading and playing piano.
