The service focuses on partnering with family law attorneys to address the financial issues that many women face, including defining and dividing property, assets and retirement funds; spousal and child support; and tax issues along with providing financial planning to guide in the major decisions being made during this transition.

Relationship Manager Kristine Davenport, who joined the firm last year, is both a Certified Financial Planner™ and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®. In addition to working with women in life transitions, she also provides wealth management and financial planning to a variety of clients from all walks of life.

“Specialized assistance for women in transition is a needed complement to our portfolio of wealth management, corporate retirement and personal trust services,” said Sharon J. Pryse, founder and CEO of The Trust Company of Tennessee. “Kristine is particularly adept at working with women going through major life changes, helping them navigate uncertain territory in an emotionally tumultuous time.”

“Understanding and tackling the issues that impact women in life transition has long lasting effects,” Davenport said. “By partnering with women, we’re empowering them to take charge of their finances and help them live and enjoy confident lives.”
