The Trust Company of Tennessee has hired Dalia Matthias as a vice president and senior trust officer.
Founded in 1987 and with offices in Chattanooga, Knoxville and the Tri-Cities, The Trust Company of Tennessee currently has more than $4.5 billion under management. The firm helps individuals, families, business owners and nonprofits make better financial decisions through wealth management, personal investment strategy, corporate retirement plans, estate planning and personal trust services.

Matthias earned dual bachelor’s degrees in marketing and management from Iowa State University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Clayton State University. She is a graduate of the American Bankers Association Wealth and Trust School and member of the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) and American Bankers Association (ABA).
Matthias has more than a decade of trust and wealth management experience, most recently working at Ameris Bank as vice president and trust advisor, administering trust accounts, building client relationships and performing annual regulation and compliance reviews.
During free time, Matthias volunteers with children’s literacy mentoring program, Everybody Wins! Atlanta and Nicholas House Atlanta. She enjoys kayaking, traveling and trying new food from different cultures around the world.
