At curtain call following its first year in operation, The Mill & Mine has earned applause from more than 65,000 people who rocked the concert hall and attended events at the downtown Knoxville venue.
Managed by Knoxville-based AC Entertainment, The Mill & Mine will celebrate its one-year anniversary on June 10. More than 100 artists performed at the venue in the first year, and the concerts included 13 sell-outs by such artists as Nathaniel Rateliff, whose show sold out in less than an hour.
“Knoxville loves live music,” AC Entertainment CEO and Founder Ashley Capps said. “By opening The Mill & Mine, we sought to expand our city’s vibrant musical scene and add opportunities for locals and visitors to experience new artists and new shows. We want to thank all of the great artists and the wonderful audiences for an incredible first year at the Mill & Mine. We’re looking forward to what year two will bring.”
In addition to concerts, the venue hosted a diverse selection of events for the Knoxville community, such as Maker City Summit, PechaKucha, Knoxville Food & Wine Yard Party and Power Yoga at The Mill & Mine with Barre Belle Yoga & Fitness. The Mill & Mine also served as a prominent venue for Big Ears Festival, as well as many large fundraising events, including UT Medical Center’s An Evening in Orange.
The Mill & Mine will celebrate its anniversary during the Bike-In Movie Series presented by Tennessee Valley Bicycles and Yee-Haw Brewing Co., on Tuesday, June 6. The June feature will be a screening of the summer classic, “Jaws,” starting at 8 p.m. Tickets are available through The Mill & Mine website at $7 for children and $9 for adults.

The Mill & Mine also is available for private events and features an indoor stage with state-of-the-art sound and lighting, 8,000 square-foot courtyard lawn with portable bars and lounge seating, private suites and space that can accommodate up to 450 guests for a seated dinner.
