Ryan S. Cutcliffe has joined The Christman Company as a project engineer in the construction management and real estate development firm’s office in Knoxville, Tennessee.
“Ryan has extensive experience in the coordination of building-critical life safety systems, along with additional technical skill sets that will serve him well at The Christman Company,” said Marty Gibbs, senior vice president and general manager for The Christman Company’s operations in Knoxville. “We welcome Ryan to our team, and we know he will be a tremendous asset for our clients.
Cutcliffe’s responsibilities will include organizing project management and document controls, coordinating inspections and quality control assurances, in addition to supporting operations leadership on his projects.
He previously served as a fire and building code inspector with the Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office with primary responsibility for the University of Tennessee campus in Knoxville. Cutcliffe, who served eight years in the U.S. Army, also worked as a pilot for PSA Airlines, Inc., which is part of American Airlines, and integrated leadership roles from his time in military into the commercial airline environment to increase efficiency and enhance safety.
Cutcliffe earned a Bachelor of Science in justice studies with a minor in military science from Georgia Southern University in 2010. He is a licensed fire inspector and pilot and certified in hazardous material awareness.
