Tina Knight joined Moxley Carmichael in 2018 as our Brand Storyteller. Drawing on her extensive communications experience, Tina utilizes her writing prowess to bring client stories to life and tell the right story at the right time to the right audience.

Previously, Tina was manager of internal communications for Discovery, Inc., home to powerhouse brands including HGTV, Discovery Channel, Food Network and TLC. Focused on global internal communications and executive communication initiatives, she combined writing with marketing and campaign-building, project management and production skills to inform, educate and inspire global employees.

With more than 13 years of experience in the media industry, Tina worked in various roles in corporate communications at Scripps Networks Interactive, including internal communications, corporate social responsibility, marketing, government and public relations, and corporate social media strategy at its global headquarters in Knoxville. She started her media career in public relations and government affairs for Cox Communications in Wichita, Kansas.

A media industry speaker and mentor, Tina also teaches and shares best practices to help others shape their communication strategy and build a career.

Tina earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Tennessee and is active in Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), including being a graduate of its Rising Leaders Program. She is a member of the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) and serves locally as a volunteer for several nonprofits. Tina lives with her husband and son in Knoxville and loves podcasts, magazines, collecting recipes and spotting groundhogs.
