Lydia Bailey joined Moxley Carmichael as a public relations specialist in 2019 and assists the account executive team with client services.
In 2018, Lydia served as a summer intern at Moxley Carmichael and in May 2019, she graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Belmont University in Nashville. After returning to her hometown of Knoxville, she joined the Moxley Carmichael staff.
Lydia is a member of Young Professionals of Knoxville (YPK) and publicity and digital marketing co-chair of the Volunteer Chapter of Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
While at Belmont, Lydia served as chapter president, vice president of development and vice president of creative for the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). She also led communications for her campus ministry and other campus events. During her senior year, Lydia earned the PRSSA Gold Key Award, multiple public relations departmental awards and a Certificate in Principles in Public Relations.
During college, she also served internships at Lovell Communications in Nashville and at the Knoxville Chamber. She worked student jobs related to event planning, marketing and communications and held the position of PR Associate for Belmont’s student-run firm, Tower Creative Communications.
Lydia enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants and visiting the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. She makes her home in Bearden and still loves spending time with her family’s dog, Winnie Cade, an English golden retriever named after two of her favorite things: Disney and Cades Cove.
