Geraldine Gallman came to Moxley Carmichael with 34 years of government and community relations experience and assists our firm with projects and special events on a part-time basis. During much of her 20 years with the Tennessee Valley Authority, she worked directly with our president, Alan Carmichael, while he was at the federal agency.

During the last five years at TVA, Geraldine was project manager of the utility’s Special Emphasis Programs, serving as the liaison with Tennessee Urban Leagues, YMCA Black Achievers program, purchasing councils and Habitat for Humanity.

She served as TVA’s coordinator for the Partners in Education program, which spans a seven-state region. Geraldine also coordinated various diversity conferences and community diversity functions, including the Tennessee and national black caucuses.

Originally from Knoxville, Geraldine graduated from Tusculum College with a Bachelor of Science in applied organizational management. Geraldine and her husband, Joe, have been married since December 2014. To complete their family, Geraldine’s granddaughter, Aisza, lives with them. They spend most of their free time shuttling Aisza, a busy teenager, from one place to another.
