Christy Rowe joined Moxley Carmichael in 2022 as an account associate and assists account executives in implementing public relations and marketing goals for clients. As a dynamic professional with more than 13 years of communications experience, she is skilled at account management, writing, media relations and small business operations.

Before joining Moxley Carmichael, Christy served as the executive director for Greenwood
Performing Arts, an arts and cultural nonprofit in Greenwood, South Carolina. She managed all operations that fit the organization’s strategic objectives, including multi-channel marketing efforts, artist contract negotiations, budgets, donor cultivation and sponsorships, grant proposals and events.

Christy’s additional experience includes serving as a national account executive for Blackbaud, the world’s leading cloud software company for nonprofits, where she managed clients such as Ronald McDonald House Charities, YWCA and Girl Scouts of America. She also served as a marketing director for Chick-fil-A in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, where she executed national marketing campaigns, planned events and spearheaded recruiting initiatives.

Christy graduated from The University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies. Her hobbies include spending time with her husband, chasing around her two energetic children, cooking, reading and traveling.
