  • Manages creative projects for almost every client as well as a highly creative and talented staff of graphic designers, web designers and developers and outside production vendors.
  • Provides full spectrum support for website projects from developing user personas and design through development, training and backend support.
  • Designs all manner of graphic art and marketing materials.
  • Maintains a stable of superior printers, web development vendors, photographers and videographers to leverage the best quality at the best cost.

  • Launched OrthoTennessee’s comprehensive website to unify all practices and sites for improved user experience and efficient backend management of physician listings and specialties.
  • Concepted new Leadership Knoxville logo to bring a bold, modern look to the well-established but evolving organization.
  • Designed Villa Collina hardback book with rich photography and history of largest house in Tennessee.
  • Built Johnson Architecture website to highlight expertise of work with vibrant photography.
Education & experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, University of Tennessee (2000)
  • Charley’s first job was as a graphic designer for Clarence Brown Theatre, where he created print advertisements and other marketing materials; he then moved to Moxley Carmichael, steered the creative vision of the firm for two decades and became an owner.
