Sweet P’s Barbeque will host a hiring fair on Monday, April 12, to fill more than 30 positions at its new Uptown Corner restaurant in Fountain City.
The job fair will take place from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. in the parking lot of the new restaurant at 3029 Tazewell Pike. Sweet P’s management will meet and interview candidates outside throughout the day.
“We look forward to joining the Fountain City community with Uptown Corner, our new restaurant and bar,” said Chris Ford, owner of Sweet P’s Barbeque. “We are seeking fun people with a strong work ethic to join the family, serve great food to the community and have a great time doing it.”
Uptown Corner, a full-service restaurant and bar, is hiring managers, cooks, servers, reception hosts, bussers, bartenders and dishwashers. Candidates hired during the month of April will be offered an early signing bonus, in addition to receiving pay while training prior to the official opening date.
The restaurant, located at the corner of Jacksboro and Tazewell pikes, is set to open later this spring. Applicants also can download or fill out an online application at sweetpbbq.com/employment before the April 12 fair.
