Fashion show features new fall lines of designer shoes, adoptable pets
Nothing complements a pair of designer shoes like a cute dog in step alongside them. On Thursday, Aug. 22, at 7 p.m., Suzani Styles and Young-Williams Animal Center will host the Dog Days of August Fashion Show at the Bill Lyons Pavilion on Market Square.
The event will showcase beautiful, one-of-a-kind shoes paired with adorable, one-of-a-kind dogs. Suzani Styles will feature its summer shoes and fall line of custom-made boots, and adoptable dogs from Young-Williams Animal Center will model the store’s new line of dog collars.
All boots and dog accessories begin as hand-stitched tapestries from the Middle East, and no two are alike. Women and families throughout Knoxville are encouraged to attend whether they’re looking for new fall boots or a new forever family member.
“We’re excited to partner with Knoxville’s newest unique boutique,” Young-Williams Animal Center CEO Jeff Ashin said. “Partnering with local businesses and organizations helps us expose new audiences to the idea of pet adoption and to the variety of loving animals we have waiting for homes. We’re grateful for partners like Suzani Styles, and we hope the Knoxville community will come to enjoy the show and consider adopting one of our canine models.”
Any dog adopted at the fashion show will go home with a free Suzani Styles collar. The event is fun, family-friendly and open to the public, and attendees will also be able to schedule a time to visit the Suzani Styles store to find their perfect pair of custom-made boots.
