South College has opened a new campus in Indianapolis, and enrollment is now open for students to join the inaugural classes that start in October.
South College is a multi-campus institution, founded in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1882. The school offers 80-plus programs and concentrations taught at six physical campuses and online.
“South College has a successful track record of offering career-driven education in high-demand fields to help students and communities thrive,” South College Chancellor Stephen A. South said. “We are ready to serve the students and community at our new campus in Indianapolis.”
Located at 301 Pennsylvania Parkway, South College Indianapolis will offer associate and certificate programs in Health Science (Pre-Nursing) and Medical Assisting, with more to come, and Turner South will serve as campus president.
“Our facilities include inviting learning spaces equipped with modern technology and equipment that allow training relevant to the professional work environment,” Campus President Turner South said. “We’re ready to serve the Indianapolis community and grow to accommodate the workforce needs of businesses in our area to help set up our students for career success.”
South College Indianapolis students have access to a range of financial aid programs for those who qualify, as well as student and career services. School leaders also will pursue and develop local community partnerships and Federal Work-Study partners in Indianapolis to provide career-ready workers to local businesses and help students in educational endeavors and career advancement.
