Pilot Flying J is expanding its nationwide network to include a Pilot Travel Center in Canton, Texas, featuring full amenities for professional drivers and the traveling public.
“We’re thrilled that this new travel center will serve the Canton community,” said Pilot Flying J CEO Jimmy Haslam. “We hope the local residents and professional drivers traveling through the Canton area will enjoy the convenience and amenities.”
Located off Interstate 20 at exit 533 at 9800 Interstate 20, the travel center offers many amenities, including:
- Five diesel lanes with DEF at the pump and eight gasoline lanes with high-speed pumps for quicker refueling;
- Hot Skillet Country Restaurant featuring home-style cooking;
- Long John Silver’s and A&W;
- premium coffee and cappuccino selections;
- a driver lounge currently undergoing renovation to better serve professional drivers; and
- everyday products for quick shopping needs.
The new facility joins the Pilot Flying J network as the 42nd location in Texas and the 662nd overall in North America.
Opening new stores is another step in Pilot Flying J’s mission to make life better for America’s drivers. In 2011, the company launched a $50 million project to remodel driver showers, and it offers DEF at the pump at more than 3,400 lanes nationwide – more than twice as many lanes than its closest competitor.
