NCAA women’s gymnastics returns to Knoxville Convention Center

Top collegiate gymnastics teams from across the country will travel to Knoxville to compete in the 4th annual Ozone Collegiate Gymnastics Classic presented by Texas Roadhouse at the Knoxville Convention Center, Saturday, Jan. 16 at 8 p.m. NCAA women’s gymnastics teams competing in the invitational include Iowa State, U.S. Air Force Academy, University of Pittsburgh and Southeast Missouri State University.

Collegiate classic tickets are available in the main concourse of the Knoxville Convention Center on Friday, Jan. 15 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 16 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children. Attendees ages 5 and under are admitted free. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, and all seats are general admission.

 Premier Athletics of Knoxville presents the collegiate classic in conjunction with the 14th annual Ozone Gymnastics Invitational, a USA Gymnastics sanctioned competition with more than 3,500 Junior Olympic gymnasts from 16 states scheduled to participate. These gymnasts, ages 6-18, will participate in women’s gymnastics, men’s gymnastics, and trampoline and tumbling events at the Convention Center on Jan. 15-18.

All competitions are hosted by Knoxville-based Premier Athletics, which has two gymnastics facilities – one located on Callahan Drive and the other near Lovell Road.  More information can be found at ozoneinvitational.com.
