Moxley Carmichael has promoted Amy Barger to office coordinator to oversee the firm’s office systems, key tasks and procedures and assist upper management with critical functions.
“Amy is an indispensable part of our team and a key reason for the success of the company as she handles so many daily operations and functions,” said Lauren Miller, CEO of Moxley Carmichael. “Her administrative support in all facets of Moxley Carmichael from answering the phone to managing the supply chain and a myriad of other daily tasks has made Amy a valuable coworker. She earned this promotion and we congratulate Amy.”
Barger, who joined the firm in 2010, previously had the title of manager of first impressions, as her voice or face is typically the first contact for the public. Her new role as office coordinator will expand her expertise into office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency, scheduling management, recordkeeping and bookkeeping.

Barger earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing, with a concentration on international business and a minor in French, from the University of Tennessee in 2007. She and her husband, Brandon, make their home in Knoxville with their daughter, Emelia, and Blue, a Great Dane and black lab mix.
