Messer Construction Co. has promoted Laura Boerger to project manager in its Knoxville Region.
Boerger, a Purdue University graduate with a major in construction engineering and management, has an esteemed history with Messer Construction Co. She led several commercial construction projects as a Messer project engineer from 2006 to 2009 and rejoined the company as project engineer in 2014.
Boerger’s project experience includes the Yamaha Jet Boat Manufacturing USA production and office expansion in Vonore; Messer’s Knoxville office renovation; St. John Neumann Catholic Church; and the University of Tennessee’s Clement Hall Renovation Phase III.
Messer Senior Project Executive John Blum said the company is fortunate to have Boerger on board.
“Laura is a strong team player with a passion for the construction industry,” Blum said. “We are pleased to recognize her performance with this new role.”
Boerger holds TDEC Fundamentals of EPSC Level 1 (Erosion Prevention and Sediment Control) and OSHA 10-hour certifications. She is a member of Associated Construction Women and volunteers with the National Kidney Foundation.
Boerger resides in the Karns community of West Knoxville.
