Messer Construction Co. recently hired University of Tennessee graduate Kaitlyn Wilburn as a project engineer.

Wilburn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the UT College of Engineering in 2014. She is currently working with the Messer team on the University of Tennessee West Campus Redevelopment project, a $234 million replacement of the Presidential Court student housing complex.

“Kaitlyn shares Messer’s passion for the construction industry,” Messer Senior Project Executive John Blum said. “We are glad to add her to our accomplished team.”

Wilburn is from Knoxville and currently resides in Fountain City.
