BrianMitchell350Messer Construction Co. recently announced the promotion of Brian Mitchell to project manager in the company’s Knoxville office.

Mitchell, who previously served as project engineer, began with Messer in 2004 as part of the University of Cincinnati’s cooperative education program. He earned two degrees from the University of Cincinnati – an associate degree in civil engineering technology in 2006 and a bachelor’s degree in construction management in 2008.

His experience includes multiple projects for the Public Building Authority of Knox County; the Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic operating room construction and equipment; and the OrthoTennessee MRI addition and renovation.

Mitchell is involved in Knox Heritage and is a member of the Knoxville chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI).
