LDA Engineering has hired Ethan Elyasian as vice president of operations of its newly created LDA Fiber division.
LDA Fiber develops high-speed fiber systems for telecommunications and infrastructure clients to meet the need of public and private investments to expand the reach of dependable, high-speed internet.
“Ethan has the right blend of expertise and operational experience to lead and grow this new business, filling a vital role to manage the core business processes and resources,” said Jason Brooks, CEO of LDA Engineering. “We’re glad to welcome him as we focus on serving existing fiber clients and bringing more on board throughout the Southeast.”
Elyasian earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He previously served as project manager for Byers Engineering Company and in various operations and engineering roles at UC Synergetic, focusing on fiber.
“I’m excited to be on the launch team for LDA Fiber and to help build our team and client base to deliver high-quality fiber projects that serve those clients and communities,” Elyasian said. “We’re focusing first on processes and training to ensure a firm foundation for expansion.”
Elyasian will work remotely in close collaboration with the firm’s East Tennessee headquarters. In addition to Elyasian, Vickie Dailey and Andrew Schurmann will round out the LDA Fiber launch team.
Elyasian is a lifelong resident of Charlotte, North Carolina, and lives there with his American pit bull terrier rescue, Rex. He enjoys outdoor activities and dedicates hundreds of hours each year to his passion for disc golf. He is on the board of directors for the non-profit Charlotte Disc Golf Club and is volunteer course director for Hornet’s Nest Park in Charlotte and the league director for a club doubles league.
