KSO presents Q Series at The Square Room

Concert and lunch for $20

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra continues the Q Series at the Square Room, a lunchtime performance series featuring the KSO Principal Quartet and the Woodwind Quintet. The next Q Series performance is Wednesday, February 22 at 12:00 p.m. at The Square Room. This series is presented with support from the Aslan Foundation.

 The Q Series consists of two KSO ensembles performing a one-hour lunchtime concert.

This concert features the KSO Woodwind Quintet playing an arrangement of Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring; the KSO Principal Quartet will play Mozart’s String Quartet No. 15.

 This performance features both ensembles including: Johanna Gruskin, flute; Claire Chenette, oboe; Gary Sperl, clarinet; Aaron Apaza, bassoon and Jeffery Whaley, French horn. KSO Principal String Quartet members are: Gordon Tsai, violin; Edward Pulgar, violin; Kathryn Gawne, viola and Andy Bryenton, cello.

Tickets are $18 in advance/$20 at the door and include a boxed lunch from Café 4 and may be purchased by calling 865-291-3310 or visiting our website. Seating is general admission and is limited; doors open at 11:30 a.m.
