KSO Presents Q Series at The Square Room: concert and lunch for $20!

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra presents six lunchtime performances at The Square Room in downtown Knoxville featuring one or more KSO ensembles. The first Q Series performance is Wednesday, September 27 at 12:00 p.m. at The Square Room. This series is presented with support from the Aslan Foundation. Patrons are encouraged to purchase the Q Series season for just $100; single tickets are $18 in advance or $20 at the door.

The Q Series consists of KSO ensembles such as the Principal Quartet and/or the Woodwind Quintet performing a one-hour lunchtime concert. Tickets are $18 in advance/$20 at the door and include a boxed lunch from Café 4. The first performance of the Q Series will take place on Wednesday, September 27 at noon and features the Principal Quartet.  Doors open at 11:30 a.m.

This concert features KSO Principal Quartet playing a Mozart String Quartet in three movements followed by an Argentinian Tango by Astor Piazzolla. The program closes with a four-movement String Quartet by Felix Mendelssohn. The KSO Principal Quartet members are: Gordon Tsai, violin; Edward Pulgar, violin; Kathryn Gawne, viola and Andy Bryenton, cello.
