The Knoxville Area Urban League is holding a three-week Financial Literacy and Capacity Building Course on Tuesday evenings from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Feb. 4, 11 and 18, 2014, 1514 East Fifth Ave., Knoxville, TN 37917. Course instruction covers topics such as developing a household budget, building or repairing credit, and making wise spending choices to meet long-term goals, such as purchasing a home.
