Holidays on Ice presented by Home Federal Bank returns to downtown Knoxville
Locally owned Home Federal Bank joins its love of downtown Knoxville and Christmas this winter through its role as presenting sponsor for the City of Knoxville’s Holidays on Ice. The ice rink opens to the public on Friday, Nov. 29.
“We’re a hometown bank with hometown values,” said Home Federal Bank President Dale Keasling. “Supporting the rink is a natural fit for us. It also fits in well with our other Christmas tradition of hosting free showings of ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ at the Tennessee Theatre.”
This year marks the 8th season for the ice rink on Market Square in the heart of downtown Knoxville. The rink will be open Friday, Nov. 29, through Sunday, Jan. 5.
Keasling added that he hopes lots of people will have the opportunity to come downtown and enjoy some time on the ice. “The Christmas season is a great time for families to enjoy quality time together. We hope that the people of Knoxville will take advantage of this fun way to celebrate the season.”
