Home Federal Bank recently awarded $10,000 in scholarships to five University of Tennessee business students as part of its annual scholarship program at the UT College of Business Administration.
“As we mark the 20-year anniversary of this scholarship program, it is our privilege to support these students as they prepare for future careers,” Home Federal Bank President Dale Keasling said. “This investment in education will soon benefit the entire business community.”
Since 1995 the bank has provided more than $195,000 in scholarships to UT students.
The following East Tennessee students received 2014-15 Home Federal Bank of Tennessee scholarships:
- Gage S. Despins, a sophomore from Knoxville studying accounting
- Jason A. Hinkle, a senior from Knoxville studying accounting
- Mary M. Mobley, a sophomore from Knoxville studying human resource management
- Dana M. Parks, a December 2014 graduate from Rocky Top in accounting
- Austin F. Reed, a junior from Watauga studying finance
