Hedstrom Design
Hedstrom Design, a full-service landscape architecture firm based in Knoxville, has hired Dan Sines as landscape designer.
Sines comes to Hedstrom Design with five years of experience in the industry, including work with firms in Illinois and Washington. He earned a bachelor’s degree in natural resources from the University of Illinois and a master’s degree in landscape architecture from Iowa State University.
“Dan brings a mix of design experience to the office,” said Sara Hedstrom Pinnell, Hedstrom Design founder and director of design. “He is particularly good at 3D work and graphic communication. With our continued expansion, Dan’s hire comes at an important time in the life of our firm. His varied background will serve our clients and us well.”
Sines lives in Sequoyah Hills and regularly bikes to work. A newcomer to the area, he plans to get involved with the local bicycle community and said that safe and well-maintained bike infrastructure is important to him as a commuter and parent. His wife, Bree, and three children currently reside in Chicago and will join him in Knoxville in the spring.
