Grayson Subaru provides ‘sweetheart deals’ for pet adoption
Need a sweetheart this Valentine’s Day? Open your heart at Young-Williams Animal Village and adopt the love of your life for a sweetheart of a deal made possible by Grayson Subaru.
On Friday and Saturday, Feb. 13-14, dogs and cats can be adopted from Young-Williams Animal Village for only $25. Regular fees for adult pets range from $50 to $75; Grayson Subaru will pay the remainder of the adoption fee for every animal housed at the Village location at 6400 Kingston Pike on Bearden Hill. Hours are noon to 6 p.m. every day.
Goody bags and Valentine’s Day treats for pets will be provided with every adoption. The goal of the special event is to have every animal at the Village location adopted, according to Jeff Ashin, Young-Williams Animal Center CEO.
“February is a slow time for pet adoptions,” Ashin said. “We are grateful for Grayson Subaru’s sponsorship which makes it possible for us to reduce our adoption fees and help find forever homes for more animals.”
Grayson Subaru’s support of Young-Williams Animal Center is part of Subaru’s national “Share the Love Campaign,” according to Randy Carter, Grayson Subaru’s sales manager. Since 2008, Subaru of America, Inc. has built a strong partnership with animal welfare agencies across the country to help bring pets and people together.
“We are thrilled to bring the ‘Share the Love Campaign’ to East Tennessee each year,” Carter said. “Our customers make it clear to us that their pets are family and often figure into the vehicle purchase they make with us. In turn, it is part of our culture as an organization to support causes important to our customers. After all, we are pet owners, too!”
Young-Williams Animal Village has a variety of adult dogs and cats of mixed sizes, ages and breeds available to fit the lifestyle of any individual or family. Every adopted animal will receive the services covered by the regular adoption fees, which include a veterinary physical exam, spay/neuter surgery, some standard vaccinations, a microchip with registration and more.
The $25 adoption fee will only be available at the Young-Williams Animal Village at 6400 Kingston Pike on Bearden Hill on Feb. 13-14. Pets will be available for adoption at the regular fees throughout the weekend at Young-Williams Animal Center, 3201 Division St., off Sutherland Avenue.
