CarolynPointerWEBCarolyn Pointer Neil, president and CEO of Elder Advocates and partner in The Center for Memory Management, has completed an advanced training course through Johns Hopkins University. Neil earned a 100 percent grade in the five-week course, “Care of Elders with Alzheimer’s Disease and other Major Neurocognitive Disorders.”

Neil’s career has been dedicated to improving the lives and health of seniors. For nearly 30 years she has worked in nursing home/assisted living settings and home health care. Neil founded Elder Advocates to guide senior citizens and their caregivers through the complex health care and support service system.

When the Geriatric Assessment Program closed last spring, she collaborated with Psychiatric Concepts to establish The Center for Memory Management. The center offers case management and evaluation for those who have Alzheimer’s disease or other memory loss conditions.
