The 28th annual Knoxville Symphony League Show House features the handiwork of local designers in one of Knoxville’s most historic neighborhoods. The Show House will be open April 10-26, Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and Sunday, 1-5 p.m.

Situated on prestigious Cherokee Boulevard in Sequoyah Hills, this beautiful three-story home built in the early 1930s features three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, guest suite, living room, large kitchen, sunroom, formal dining room and entertainment room. The waterfront house along Fort Loudoun Lake includes a boat dock, restored in-ground pool, pool house and gazebo.

“The 2015 Show House will be just as beautiful as the 27 homes that preceded it,” said Edie Volk, chair of the Knoxville Symphony League Show House, which benefits the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra. “Working in a historical home has been a rewarding experience. We are inviting everyone to come enjoy the designers’ hard work and get ideas for their own homes.”

The on-site Symphony Gift Shop also offers decorating ideas and an assortment of items for sale. Private and corporate parties can be booked at the Show House by contacting Carlene Welch at 865-705-9072.

To reach the Show House, take Kingston Pike to Cherokee Boulevard and travel 1.4 miles. The house, located at 1230 Cherokee Blvd., is on the left, just past the neighborhood fountain. Parking is available in parking lots on either side of the home, and directional signs will be posted.

“This Show House showcases the beauty of one of Knoxville’s most scenic neighborhoods,” Volk said. “Visitors will enjoy not only the interior of this house, but the splendid views outside.”

The following local designers were involved with the 2015 Show House:

  • Scott Bishop, Westwood Antique & Design Market
