Caris Healthcare earned the SHPBest Superior Performer award for the high quality of its hospice care in Tennessee.
The recently announced SHPBest awards are part of Strategic Healthcare Programs (SHP), which provides health care data analytics and benchmarking for organizations across the country.
Caris Healthcare’s Somerville and Milan offices in West Tennessee received the SHPBest Superior Performer award for their hospice quality scores, which are generated by the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) Hospice Survey.
“These scores are provided by feedback from caregivers via the CAHPS Hospice survey, and they are a direct reflection of the dedication and compassion from a hardworking team,” Caris Healthcare President and CEO Paul Saylor said. “Caris Healthcare is committed to providing the best hospice care, and we congratulate our team members who serve the Somerville and Milan areas.”
Caris’ overall score ranked in the top 20 percent in the national CAHPS benchmark and scoring above the SHP national average for each quality measure throughout 2017.
