KSO NEWS SENTINEL POPS SERIES WELCOMES INDIGO GIRLS

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra welcomes the Indigo Girls THIS SATURDAY as part of the Knoxville News Sentinel POPS Series. The concert will take place on Saturday, March 15 at 8:00 p.m. at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium.

EAST TENNESSEE SCHOOLS WIN $75,000 IN U.S. CELLULAR’S CALLING ALL COMMUNITIES CAMPAIGN

Students, teachers and administrators at Brickey McCloud Elementary School and Powell Elementary School in Knox County as well as Seymour Intermediate School in Sever County are each $25,000 richer today after being named a 2013 Champion in U.S. Cellular’s (NYSE: USM) Calling All Communities campaign. The winning schools garnered the most community votes and each won $25,000 to use as they wish to enhance their educational experience.

UT LAW GRADUATES JOIN LEWIS KING LAW FIRM

Ronald K. Isaacs and Mikel A. Towe, recent graduates of the University of Tennessee College of Law, have joined the Lewis, King, Krieg & Waldrop law firm. Both are associates working out of the firm’s Knoxville office with a focus on general civil litigation.
