Asbury Place continuing care retirement communities recently added Sheri Collins to the sales and marketing team for its Kingsport campus.
Collins has a nearly 20-year career in the health care industry, with a focus on social services and marketing. She most recently worked for a national hospice care provider operating in the region and previously served as director of admissions, marketing and social services at another Asbury Place campus.
“We are delighted to find an individual with such a varied and successful career in health care,” said Marjorie Shonnard, chief operating officer for Asbury Inc. “Sheri’s dual focus on social work and marketing makes her a perfect fit, and we’re glad to welcome her back to Asbury Place.”
The veteran health care worker said that she is delighted to come “home” to Asbury Place. “It’s like a family here, and I’m excited to share Asbury’s story,” said Collins.
Collins attended Cleveland State Community College before earning her Bachelor of Science degree in human services, summa cum laude, from Tennessee Wesleyan College.
Collins resides in Johnson City. She has one son, Preston, who is currently pursuing his doctorate degree in physical therapy at East Tennessee State University.
