Knox County Mayor Mike Ragsdale and the Knox County Commission
officially opened the Knox County Office of Neighborhoods as a forum for county government to help make our great neighborhoods
even better. Knox County's Senior Director of Communications and
Government Relations Mike Cohen asked Moxley Carmichael to concept
and design a logo for the new organization. Since the Office of
Neighborhood's goal is to connect Knox County government with our
neighborhoods, Moxley Carmichael's graphic design team created a
logo to fuse the name of the organization with the primary symbol
of a neighborhood - houses.
The logo readily identifies the organization on stationery, through signage at regularly scheduled "Neighborhood Nights" and at the organization's link on the Knox County
E-Government Portal Web site. Moxley Carmichael is honored to have the confidence of Knox County government to help it create effective communications tools. We were pleased to donate our graphic design services to help launch this important forum that is working to take government to the people.
