The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra presents the 28th Annual Clayton Holiday Concert on December 19, 20 & 21 at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium. Maestro Lucas Richman conducts the Orchestra and special guests for “An Olde English Christmas.” Children’s tickets are available at just $8.00. There are four performances: Friday, Dec. 19 & Saturday, Dec. 20 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 20 and Sunday, Dec. 21 at 3:00 p.m. These concerts are sponsored by Clayton Homes, Clayton Volvo and Clayton Bank & Trust.

The KSO will be joined by special guests the Knoxville Choral Society, Go! Contemporary Dance Works, Webb School Madrigal Singers, Church Street United Methodist Treble Choir, University of Tennessee Herald Trumpets, and Santa Claus.
Tickets may be purchased by calling 865-291-3310 or visiting our website. Tickets range from $14.00 – $45.00 and children’s tickets start at less than $8.00. Groups of 10 or more can purchase tickets at a discounted rate by calling 865-521-2337.
“I always look forward to the winter holiday season with the KSO and all of our collaborative partners,” said KSO Music Director Lucas Richman. “This year’s theme, An Olde English Christmas, brings traditions from the land of Shakespeare, Dickens, Christmas pudding and wassail to our Clayton Holiday Concert, with wonderful music that reminds us of the poignant messages of peace and goodwill that carry us through this time of year.”
The KSO has contributed to the cultural life in East Tennessee since 1935 as the oldest continually operating orchestra. Under the leadership of Lucas Richman, the orchestra consists of 80 professional musicians and performs more than 250 programs throughout East Tennessee each season, including non-traditional places like hospitals, school classrooms, nursing homes, city parks and churches in addition to the concert hall.
