What: The 2014-15 Knoxville News Sentinel KSO Pops Series features the music of Simon & Garfunkel with hits including “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “Homeward Bound,” “I Am a Rock” and more. NEW THIS YEAR: Those who subscribe to the Knoxville News Sentinel Pops Series get four concerts plus a fifth concert free! Subscriptions begin at $105.

Who: Guest conductor Michael Krajewski conducts the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra and guest performers AJ Swearingen and Jonathan Beedle. The duo has been performing this remarkable tribute for more than a decade to sold-out audiences. Known for his entertaining programs and clever humor, Michael Krajewski is a much sought after conductor of symphonic pops. He is the principal pops conductor of the Houston Symphony, Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the newly appointed Music Director of The Philly Pops.  Michael’s other collaborative programs have included pop artists such as Roberta Flack, Wynona Judd, Kenny Loggins, Ben Folds, Doc Severinsen, Patti Austin, Sandi Patty, Ann Hampton Callaway, Classical Mystery Tour, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and The Midtown Men.
