The Knoxville Chapter of the American Marketing Association (KAMA) celebrated its 2011 professional and student honorees at a reception on April 21 at the Bijou Theatre’s U.S. Cellular Stage. Cynthia Moxley, CEO of Moxley Carmichael, was named KAMA's 2011 Outstanding Marketing Professional. Moxley founded her Knoxville-based public and media relations firm in 1992 and is the author of the blog, The Blue Streak. "I'm honored to accept KAMA's 2011 Outstanding Marketing Professional award, particularly because it recognizes the achievements in strategy and implementation that I and my Moxley Carmichael team have achieved for our clients," Moxley said. "I'm also honored to be included in the same group as Jim Haslam, Shelba Murphy, Jim Clayton, Chris Whittle and other past recipients who have been professional role models for so many East Tennesseans." |
