Geraldine Cody came to Moxley Carmichael with 34 years of government and community relations experience. During much of her 20 years with the Tennessee Valley Authority, Cody worked directly with our Co-President Alan Carmichael while he was at the agency. For her last five years at TVA, she was project manager of the utility’s Special Emphasis Programs, serving as the liaison with Tennessee Urban Leagues, YMCA Black Achiever’s Program, purchasing councils and Habitat for Humanity. She served as TVA’s coordinator for the Partners in Education program, which spans a seven-state region. Cody also coordinated various diversity conferences and community diversity functions including the Tennessee and national black caucuses.
