February 13, 2018

Downtown Knoxville’s first Knoxville Symphony League ShowHouse will be held at THE TENNESSEAN Personal Luxury Hotel & Residences on April 5-29. Three of the luxury residences at THE TENNESSEAN will be exquisitely decorated by some of the area’s most prestigious designers.

The Knoxville Symphony League ShowHouse will be held for the first time in downtown Knoxville at THE TENNESSEAN Personal Luxury Hotel & Residences.

The 2018 Symphony ShowHouse is sponsored by Johnson & Galyon Construction and will include more than 7,000 square feet of decorated spaces.

The Symphony ShowHouse will be open for public tours Thursdays and Fridays, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.; Saturdays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; and Sundays, 1-5 p.m. Day passes are $20, and season passes are $30. Proceeds benefit the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra.

“This year, the Knoxville Symphony League presents a truly one of a kind ShowHouse because we are showcasing several residences for the price of one, and in the heart of downtown Knoxville,” Symphony ShowHouse Chairman Elizabeth Koester said. “We hope everyone will visit these beautiful residences at THE TENNESSEAN to get ideas for their own homes and support the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra.”

THE TENNESSEAN, located at 531 Henley St., is a luxurious urban retreat located in beautiful downtown Knoxville, alongside World’s Fair Park. It comprises a AAA Four Diamond-rated, 82-room and suite hotel and 12 upper-bracket residences. THE TENNESSEAN Residences feature floor-to-ceiling windows, gourmet kitchens, gas fireplaces, premium cabinetry and luxury baths.

“THE TENNESSEAN Residences is honored to be selected as a Knoxville Symphony League ShowHouse masterpiece,” said Nicholas Cazana, managing partner of THE TENNESSEAN Personal Luxury Hotel and Residences. “We are even more honored to be the host site for the first-ever ShowHouse to be held in downtown Knoxville.”

A fourth residence will house event space for private/corporate parties, special events and the Symphony ShowHouse Gift Shop, which will offer a variety of gift and home décor items for purchase.

Private and corporate parties at the Symphony ShowHouse can be booked by contacting Carlene Welch at 865-705-9072.

The Knoxville Symphony League is a membership-driven guild of volunteers that has benefited the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra through a variety of fundraisers since 1952. The ShowHouse is one of the league’s biggest annual events and funds KSO programs that provide cultural and educational outreach in the community.

“There are so many wonderful KSO Education and Community Partnerships programs in the community that these funds will go to support, which are near and dear to my heart,” Koester said. “The Symphony ShowHouse is a delightful, fun way to support these programs.”
