AARP recognized First Horizon as one of the Best Employers for Workers Over 50 for the sixth consecutive year. The company was ranked seventh on AARP’s list and was was the only financial services company listed in the top 30. In compiling the list, AARP evaluated companies’ best practices and policies for valuing the mature worker.

It evaluated policies on flexibility, advancement of women, compensation, leave for new parents, childcare and work/life culture.

“It's a great advantage for First Tennessee every time First Horizon is recognized as an exceptional employer,” said Pam Fansler, president of First Tennessee-Knoxville. “At every level of our company, we strive to do the right thing for our employees and that makes a difference in attracting and retaining the best people. This translates over time into better value for our customers.”
