KCDC REELECTS BOARD OFFICERS

Knoxville's Community Development Corporation (KCDC) recently announced the reelection of the board officers.

Craig Griffith, a KCDC board member since 2003 and public relations manager for St. Mary’s Health System, remains chairman of KCDC’s board of commissioners.

Juanita Cannon, who is retired from Knox County Schools with more than 40 years experience as an educator and principal, was reelected vice chairman.

David Hutchins, president of Hutchins Associates architectural firm, remains treasurer, and Alvin Nance, KCDC executive director and CEO, remains as board secretary.

Other commissioners are former board chair Culver Schmid, Ellen Adcock, Fr. Ragan Schriver and resident commissioner Norman Watkins.

All commissioners are appointed by the mayor of Knoxville.
